WWE SmackDown Results 26/11/15 – Thursday Night

WWE SmackDown Results 26/11/15 – Thursday Night: WWE SmackDown this week is out of Indianapolis and the familiar team of Booker T, Rich Brennan, and Jerry Lawler is calling the action. The show begins with Roman Reigns coming out to the ring, where a table, ladder, and chair is set up given that the title match between Reigns & Sheamus is set to be a Tables, Ladders & Chairs match.

Reigns talk about growing up with the Usos in a wrestling family and wrestling all over the house, so much so that the trio one day broke a table leading them to be banned from wrestling in the house. But the dream of becoming a WWE world champion was something he never gave up on and it was fulfilled on Sunday night until Sheamus came in and shattered his dreams.

This brings out Sheamus who references the short title reign of the Samoan and makes fun of it, comparing it to the things that would last longer than Reigns’ title reign. He does give Roman some props for the matches he had to become the champion, but tells him he should have shaken Triple H’s hand when he had the chance. Instead he speared him and now, he will have to go through his life having nightmares of Sheamus.

To this, Roman replies saying, he has three words for Sheamus “Tables, Ladders, and Chairs.”

The Dudley Boyz vs. The Wyatt Family (Braun Strowman & Erick Rowan)

The match was a good back and forth battle between the newest monster team of the Wyatts against the most decorated tag-team in the history of the WWE. Rowan did most of the selling, while Strowman continues to be made to look like a monster.

The end comes when the Dudleys manage to topple Strowman over the top rope and hit Rowan with a double neck breaker. Bubba motions D-Von to get the tables when Harper gets in the ring and causes a DQ by kicking Bubba in the face. Strowman puts D-Von to sleep with the chokehold while Bubba is sent through a table with a double chokeslam by Rowan & Harper.

Becky Lynch vs. Paige:

After Paige laid a beating on Becky’s friend Charlotte on RAW, it was Becky’s turn to go one-on-one against the Anti-Diva. After a very goo back and forth battle between the two former friends, Paige secures the win with a roll-up after she sends Becky into the ropes.

Jack Swagger vs. Alberto Del Rio w/Zeb Colter:

After the initial lockup, Del Rio tries to take the advantage on the All-American, but Swagger reverses with shoulders. It isn’t long before Del Rio gains the upper hand on Swagger, though, and applies the rear chin lock.

Swagger gets a Belly-to-Belly slam on Del Rio, who rolls to the outside. Swagger heads in the direction of Colter, when Del Rio attacks him with a steel chair from behind, causing a DQ. Del Rio sends Swagger back into the ring. The referee tries to take the chair away, but Swagger gets hold of the chair. Swagger proceeds to whack Del Rio in the back with the chair until Del Rio rolls out of the ring and heads towards the back with Colter.

The New Day w/The Gobbledygooker vs. The Lucha Dragons:

The Gobbledygooker costume is presumably worn by Xavier Woods as Kofi & Big E take on the Lucha Dragons. After a back and forth match, it is the GobbledyGooker who causes a mishap and pushes Kofi to the ropes for Kalisto to hit a Salida Del Sol to Kofi to pick up the victory.

Following the match, it is revealed that it was Jey Uso in the GobbledyGooker costume and the whole of New Day is laid out by the Usos and The Lucha Dragons.

Tyler Breeze w/Summer Rae vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Dean Ambrose in a Triple Threat Match to Number One Contender to the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WWE TLC:

This one is a fast-paced match between 3 of the best workers on the roster. Intercontinental champion Kevin Owens is on commentary for this one too.

The end comes when Breeze connects with a Beauty Shot to Ziggler and goes for the Unprettier but Ambrose counters with the Dirty Deeds to pick up the victory.

Following the match, Ambrose and Owens get in each other’s face and Ambrose shoves Owens back into his seat. After a brief moment, Owens walks away with his belt.
