MMA Injuries vs Boxing:
If you are a boxing fan, a simple cut above the eyes and a broken nose would sometimes mean the end of a fight. Whenever a boxer touches the mat during the fight with his gloves that already means a knockdown. I’m not saying that we prefer to see more bloody fights and the use of the elbows and feet, but MMA injuries vs boxing from a gloved hand are minimal to say the least. A quick YouTube search will give you the worst MMS injuries Videos. While you’re at it, look for MMA injuries videos as well.
So how about a piece of bone sticking out the skin? Well, this happened at UFC 175 with the up and coming MMA striker Uriah Hall. I guess the adrenaline was pumping through his blood that he didn’t even bother, he just said that he felt the bone shift in and out of his skin. Next is an injury that is so disgusting that it looked like it came from a horror movie flick rather than a UFC fight. This happened in UFC 189 when Ruthless Robbie Lawler had a bigger smile at the end of the 5 round bout. He had a cut right through the right upper lip and through the skin to his cheeks! Poor Robbie even had a slur when he was being interviewed at the end of the fight because the air was going out the cut. I was wishing that he’d stop shouting after the fight because the cut might rip the side of his face. If that happened, that would be part of the worst MMA injuries ever and I’m sure this will be part of an mmm injuries compilation soon.
