World number 1 Serena Williams face world number 20 Garbine Muguruza in the 2015 Wimbledon Tennis Women’s Single Final Live Streaming on Saturday 11th July, 2015. Match looks like a non-competition match for Murguruza as per their records and statistics.
Serena Williams already won 20 Grand Slam titles including 5 Wimbledon titles and right now on the top of world rankings. In other side the previous best of 21 year old Garbine Muguruza was quarter-final stage of French Open.
If we go on statistics world number 20 Muguruza does not have any chance in the Finals but facts are different from now. The way she is playing, we can say that she is only deserving player for the final.
Both faced each other 3 times in grand slam history and 2 were won by Serena and one last year French open was the never forgotten victory of Muguruza. At Roland Garros last year Muguruza defeated the World Number 1 Serena Williams in straight sets of 6-2 and 6-2. She outplayed Serena Williams.
This is the first grand slam final of Garbine Muguruza and young Spaniard will be under some pressure. Muguruza also mentioned this as the hardest match anyone can have and also said that you have to face such challenges if you want to win the title.
Muguruza said, “To have Serena in the Wimbledon final, I think, is the hardest match you can have, If you want to win a Grand Slam, when you dream, you say, ‘I want Serena in the final.’”
Another advantage with Muguruza is not facing the world number one for the first time even bigger advantage is 2014 victory against her. She is also confident that she can repeat the performance of 2014 French Open against Serena Williams.
21 year old Spaniard said, “She knows that I can win against her, that I’m not afraid, I don’t think she’s really used to this. Serena, she doesn’t lose so many matches in the year”
She also said that being calm and relaxed enhance your chances to win this, despite looking to do something extraordinary. She said, “Like the other days on court, you don’t have to do anything different, You have to be more fit & calm, that’s true, but you just practice and consider Final as all other matches.
After her French open defeat against Muguruza, Serena hasn’t faced so many defeats till now. Her only defeat at major tournaments after that is her 3rd round exit from 2014 Wimbledon.

We had a tough match the last time we played in Roland Garros, and she’s given me tough competition in the past.”
Discussing the strategy of this time; Serena Williams said, “This time I have to just go in, have fun and just be the best adnd play like any other match that I can, trying to stay positive and stay focused. I don’t think she’s intimidated at all. She’s not that kind of person. She’ll be fine.”
