Royal Rumble 30 Man Match for World Heavyweight Championship:
This happened in the history of Royal Rumble for the 2nd time. First time in 1992, when WWE championship is defended in 30 man match. On Jan 4 Raw show, Roman Reigns defended his title against Sheamus in which WWE CEO and Chairman becomes the guest Referee. He wants Sheamus to win. But after troubling Roman Reigns so much he still wins the title and that Vince did not want. So he made a statement that Roman Reigns will defend his title in 30 Man Royal Rumble on Jan 24.
Dean Ambrose vs Kevin Owens - Intercontinental Title Match:
This start long ago when Ambrose wins the title against Owens in WWE TLC 2015. After that, Owens attacked Ambrose saying that He wants his title back. On Jan 7 Smackdown, there is a title rematch but both the wrestlers fighting outside the ring till referee counts to 10. So the match is discarded. Now both will face each other in a Last Man Standing match in Royal Rumble which means the wrestler who can not stand on his feet completely till referee counts to 10 will lose the match.
