Rising Pune IPL 2016 Squad Team Players List - MS Dhoni as Captain Rising Pune Supergiants: Pune IPL 2016 team is made from Chenna Super Kings players. CSK is suspended for 2 years and Pune is taking Chennai place for two years. Today Pune has announced their name of Indian Premier League which they use in IPL seasons 2016 and 2017. Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) is the new name of PUNE team. With the new name, Pune has also announced MS Dhoni as their captain and Steven Fleming who was coaching Chennai will now coach Pune. Raghu Iyer is the CEO of Pune IPL Franchise.
An ecstatic Goenka said, “Apart from these aspects, we have also appointed Raghu Iyer as our CEO, he is already an integral part of the Sanjiv Goenka group as he is the CEO our sports extension, sports vertical.” Pune Team has also launched their logo.
