The KFC Big Bash League is the second most popular T20 league in world cricket at the moment. The league includes most of the Australian stars and the sprinkling of international flavours in each of the 8 teams in the league gives you an event to remember.
The league also has seen many wonderful records being made. Some with the ball and some with the bat; these records are the stats which keeps fans in touch with the success of the league. Here are the top 5 Batsmen with Most Runs in Big Bash League at this moment.

5. Nic Maddinson (Sydney Sixers) - Runs: 842
Nic Maddinson plays for Sydney Sixers.
One of the most exciting talents in BBL, Nic Maddinson has played for Sydney Sixers since 2011 in the league and has scored 842 runs, placing him 5th in the list.
Madison opens the innings for the Sixers and averages 28.06 with a strike rate of 131.97. He has hit 89 fours and 31 sixes in the Big Bash League so far. His exploits with the Sixers earned him a contract with the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise in the Indian Premier League when RCB bought him in the auction held earlier this year.

England’s Luke Wright set the inaugural BBL on fire with a 44 ball hundred.
England’s Luke Wright sits pretty at no.4 on the list with 856 runs in 33 matches. He plays for Melbourne Stars and averages 28.52 with the bat.
Wright scored the fastest hundred at a time in the inaugural Big Bash league against Hobart Hurricanes off just 44 balls. He has hit 93 fours and 30 sixes so far. A promising prospect for English cricket, he somehow fell off the radar, due to injury and non-performance. He has played 50 ODIs and 51 T20Is for England and has a fair record in the shortest form of the game.
One of the few cricketers in demand for the T20 leagues around the world; he has played for Pune Warriors in IPL and continues to strive hard for an England recall.
3. Shaun Marsh (Perth Scorchers) - Runs:909
Shaun Marsh is one of the top run-getter in T20 leagues around the world.
Run machine Shaun Marsh is the number 3 spot holder on the list of top 5 Batsmen. He has made an astounding 909 runs in just 20 matches in the Big Bash League, playing for Perth Scorchers.
Marsh has hit 9 scores of 50 plus in his BBL career with a highest of 99* and averages an exemplary 56.81. His record shows that he is one of the most talented batsmen in the world of cricket today.
He also made headlines in the inaugural IPL in 2008, scoring 616 runs in juts 11 matches, playing for Kings XI Punjab. He won the orange cap for the highest run-getter in that tournament and has been one of the most sought after players in the T20 leagues all around the world.
2. Aaron Finch (Melbourne Renegades) - Runs:961
Aaron Finch has scored 961 runs for Melbourne Renegades.
Current Australian T20 captain Aaron Finch is second in the list. He plays for Melbourne Renegades and has scored an impressive 961 runs in 27 matches for them.
His highest score is 111* and he makes his runs at the strike rate of 131.82. One of the most devastating openers in the shortest form of the game, Finch currently holds the record for the highest score in a T20I, 156 against England.
Aaron Finch has also made appearances in IPL for teams like Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals and even led Pune Warriors India.

Michael Klinger heads the list of highest run-makers in the Big Bash League (2011 onwards).
Micheal Klinger heads the list with 989 runs in 32 matches at an average of 35.32 and the highest score of 105*.
Klinger has played for Adelaide Strikers and Perth Scorchers in the BBL. A technically correct batsman, Klinger modified his game for the shorter formats and has since enjoyed success in the T20 arena as well. He has played for Kochi Tuskers Kerala in the IPL while also playing the NatWest Blast T20 in England.
