Juventus to wait until after Barcelona presidential elections to decide on Pogba’s future

It seems Serie A club Juventus has decided to wait until after La Liga club FC Barcelona have elected their club’s president to decide on French midfielder Paul Pogba’s future.

The elections which are to be held on July 18th 2015 will see the likes of Agusti Benedito contest against Joan Laporta and Josep Bartomeu in order to become Barca’s new head.

Presidential candidate Agusti Benedito, in June had shown interest in signing Pogba for Barca, he earlier today addressed the press and said that Juventus are waiting until the outcome of the elections to decide Frenchman’s future and he further added that they even warned him that French team PSG had already offered Poga a €12m per season offer.

Though Benedito said that the transfer can wait for the time being, he also added, that Pogba was worth a €200m in investment.

Late last month Juventus had also announced that Argentinean forward Carlos Tevez would be leaving the club to rejoin his old team Boca Juniors. Tevez spent two seasons with Juventus and the club helped the 31 year old revive his career.

Tevez had an outstanding season with Juventus last year and he helped the team to win Serie A and the Coppa Italia and reach the Champions League final. He scored a total of 29 goals in all competitions.
