Italian Serie A 2015-16 is the 114th season of Italian Football which is also known as Serie A TIM for sponsorships. The season will start from 23rd August 2015 as said by Serie A Officials and Final match of the season will be played on 15 May 2016.
Total of 20 teams will compete in this league, 17 from previous season 2014-15 and 3 teams from Serie B 2014-15 League.
Carpi becomes the first team who to play in Serie A, which was played an only season in Serie B that also 2014-15. Carpi is 64th Team to participate in Italian Serie A from its beginning.
First time in the history of Serie A Italian Football, Goal Line Technology is being used due to complaints registered from various teams General Managers.

Serie A 2015-16 Dates when the Schedule is out has been out along with Italy Domestic Cup schedule of Copa Italia 2015-16 Dates. As listed above, matches dates will be announced on 27 July 2015. Carlo Tavecchio and Maurizio Beretta commented earlier today that Antonio Conte’s request for the 2015-16 season to end a week early will be met, and now the Lega Serie A has ratified this.
