IPL Auction 2016 is the 9th season of Indian Premier League where players are bought by the Team owners called Franchise. This time, IPL Auction will be done with the entry of two new teams after suspension of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals due to corruption. The countdown has begun for the world’s most famous and lucrative T20 League called as IPL or Indian Premier League. The IPL 2016 season will be played from 9 April - 29 may 2016. With the IPL players draft for suspended teams release, IPL Auction 2016 Date has also been announced which is on 6 Feb 2016. BCCI who is managing the IPL since the suspension of Lalit Modi since 2007 has released the list of Players for Auction.
IPL Auction 2016 Date: Feb 6, 2016
The date for IPL Auction is set to 6th February in Bengaluru. The trading windows with the player draft are closed in which players has been retained and released by teams to participate in Auction. Minimum Salary for any players is $50,000 while players under 22 age have salary of $22,000 min. Pune and Rajkot are the two new teams.
