How the Transfer System only benefits Top Clubs & Players

Sports economist Stefan Szymanski has found a new study in the Football that whenever the big money is being exchanged in the transfer of a player that only helps some big players and big clubs in football. If we would like to name some big players and clubs those are, Cristiano Ronaldo - Real Madrid, Lionel Messi FC Barcelona, Memphis Depay Man Utd.

This study commissioned by world-renowned players union Fifpro which states that FIFA current transfer system in which free movement of money and players between clubs are only benefited to Big guns in the world of Football. “The transfer system is not only unfair to players, it also promotes the opposite of what was intended”, writes Szymanski in the report.

If you look at the Transfers happening in Winter and Summer, you only notice one thing that only the richer clubs can buy best players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, Rooney, Ozil because only they can afford the transfer money payable to players, club, football Associations, & FIFA.

Szymanski commissioned a report with Fifpro, registered a legal complaint with European commission for current transfer system and the abolition of money used in transfers.
