One of the biggest competitions in the world of football after the FIFA World Cup is the UEFA European Championship. It is also called as The Euros. This is basically the continental championship for the nations in Europe which is managed on an international platform. The Euros are held every four-year just like the World Cup tournaments. This competition was founded in 1960 and is still running strong.
Germany and Spain have won this title three times. There are other teams such as France which has won the Euros twice. The global audience for this tournament is immense. It is tagged as the second most watched footballing event with a viewer population of around 300 million! The defending champion of the UEFA Euro Championship 2012 is Spain which defeated Italy 4-0 in the finals. The Euro 2016 would be held in France and there would be 24 teams which would be competing for the prestigious title.
Squad Submission:
The UEFA EURO 2016 would kick-off on 10th June 2016 with the first game between France and Romania. The basic criteria before the start of the tournament are to submit the squad list to the management. Every participating team needs to offer their 23-man squad 10 days before the first game of the competition. Proper guidelines have been stated for the qualifying European teams for this year’s Euro Championship that the final date to produce their official squad is 1st June 2016. There are strict rules which state that every squad must contain at least 3 goal-keepers. Some of the key rules and regulations regarding the announcements are as follows:

Substitute Bench: All 12 players who are not named in starting Xi can be on the bench and any three can be used as sub
