So it’s time for Copa America 2016 Draw where Groups are decided and Full Schedule is also released. The Draw event time is 7:30 PM ET on Sunday 21 Feb 2016. The venue for the Copa America Centenario draw event is Hammerstein Ballroom, New York City, New York, United States. This is one of the biggest tournament in the US after 1994 FIFA World Cup. Also, this is the first time when Copa America is played outside South America. This time, 4 extra teams from North America CONCACAF will also be playing in the tournament with Ten members of CONMEBOL to decide the best team in the American continent.
There are four Pots have been made to draw Groups. In the first POT, Host Unites States is placed with Group B, C and D leaders Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina. These 4 teams will lead the 4 Groups selected today in the tournament. Rest 12 Teams will join the one of above 4 members in Groups of 3 nations.
Chile who is the winner of Copa America 2015 and beat Argentina in Final last year in June 2015 will be grouped with Colombia, Uruguay, and Ecuador in POT no. 2.

How Teams are Drawn in 4 Groups:
- Select a Team from POT 1 to 4
- Select from corresponding POTS 5-8
The draw will begin with the pulling of the four seeded teams, in order of the group, from Pot 1. As each team is drawn, the corresponding ball from Pot 5 will be drawn, and the seeded team placed in the respective head position of its pre-determined group — United States (Group A), Brazil (Group B), Mexico (Group C), Argentina (Group D).
