In what seems to be a profitable venture, the Big Bash League and Warner Bros. have formed a partnership for the upcoming season of BBL 05. Also, the ticket sales were declared open for the upcoming season of BBL 05, which is expected to see some heavy numbers in the audience this year because the schedule of the BBL 05 was made keeping the Christmas holidays in mind. This will ensure maximum turnout from fans all over the country during the holiday season.
Mike McKenna who is the operations general manager for Cricket Australia said that,” “The KFC Big Bash League has become a major part of summer for fans of all ages across the past four seasons and BBL|05 is set to be the biggest season yet, not least of all because of our exciting partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures and Warner Bros. Movie World, regarded as one of the biggest family entertainment brands in the world.”
As for the tickets, they are priced at 20 AUD for an adult, 5 AUD for a child and 42.50 AUD for a family.
The Big Bash League has become one of the most awaited forms of entertainment for the Australian audience and the partnership between BBL and Warner Bros will only help the popularity soar to newer heights. The BBL organisers announced that the spectators watching the BBL matches that have nominated as Warner Bros. matches can have a chance to visit the Warner Bros. movie world on the Gold Coast with their families.
There will also be prizes for families of spectators if their home club does well in their innings. Meaning more prizes for the spectators if their home club hits more sixes or takes most wickets. Each nominated match will have a BBL selected fan from the crowd to attend the BBL final to represent their home team and will also get a chance to participate in the on-field competitions.
The prize of the competition will be a chance to visit Los Angeles with their family and witness the studios where the Warner Bros. movie Superman vs Batman: Dawn of Justice is being shot. The terms and conditions for the aforementioned competition can be read here.
