How to Select Players:

Before selecting players in your Fantasy Team confirm that player is not playing many matches in their International Team. If you select Intl. Player, he will be committed to playing matches with their national teams and may not be available for all matches of Big Bash for their respective team. He may play matches in bits.

E.g. In BBL04, some West Indies players are committed to playing with International Team while Big Bash is running so they are only signed for half tournament.

In this season, you have given 21 trades to use in 9 trading period. You can do 3 trades per week and in the finals, you can do unlimited trades. So better avoid test players while their team is playing test matches in Big Bash season.

  • You will select 16 players instead of 15 – which includes 7 Batsmen, 2 Wicketkeepers, 7 Bowlers.
  • Player Price will change immediately after the first round. So you can change your player to make the best team.

  • Batsmen will not be penalised 20 runs for scoring a duck
  • strike-rate bonus for batsmen and economy rate bonus for bowlers

How Scoring works:

BBL Fantasy scoring system is different from other Fantasy leagues. So you better able to understand the scoring system.

You Score one point when a Batsmen make a Run. Batsmen will score their Strike rate also. Now you have also to select players with best Striker Rate as well.

Once a player is dismissed or an innings is concluded, the strike rate bonus will be added:

  • 20 points if the strike rate is 150+
  • 16 points if the strike rate is between 140 and 149.99
  • 12 points if the strike rate is between 130 and 139.99
  • 8 points if the strike rate is between 120 and 129.99

Also, if players have scored 20 or more runs only then he will get the benefit of Strike rate points. Bowlers with good strike rate can also score extra points. WicketKeeper will get 15 points for Stumping which is very high points to win your team.

A run out will get 15 points. The last person to hit the bowl to Stumps will get points, not the every player include in that run out.

A catch will score 12 points. Bowler will get 20 points for a wicket and 12 points for a maiden over.

Bowlers also receive score bonuses, but theirs come from economy rate:

  • 20 points if the economy rate is below 5
  • 16 points if the economy rate is between 5.01 and 6
  • 12 points if the economy rate is between 6.01 and 7
  • 8 points if the economy rate is between 7.01 and 8

Final Thoughts:

  • Choose Batsmen with Higher Striker Rate and Play up in the order.
  • Choose Players who will play most of the matches.
  • Choose Wicketkeepers who must bat 5-6 no place.
  • Choose Bowlers as All-rounders

And don’t forget the prize money:

  • $10k for overall winner
  • $500 for round winner
  • $6k for winning league (to be split evenly among participants)
  • 2 x premium memberships for winning the Supporter League of the team you support/nominate
