Bayern Munich vs Wolfsburg Highlights 5-1, Robert Lewandowski 5 Goals Video: Well, this was really not an expected substitution taken up by Pep Guardiola, but one thing you can rest assured, Robert Lewandowski is never going down that bench again. The Polish striker may not have started the game, but undoubtedly this was an excellent way to finish it. Bayern Munich won a 5-1 against Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga title and this led Bayern to make its way to the top of the table.
While Wolfsburg was leading with 1-0 with the goal of Daniel Caligiuri, it was the halftime when Lewandowski was brought as the substitute. And to everyone’s utter shock, the striker ended up leveling the score to 1-1 within just 6 minutes. Well, after that there was no looking back for the striker as the rain of goals started. With receiving the ball near the final third edge, Lewandowski took a turn and cleared the bars with a long range low strike that beat the goalkeeper in every way making the score to 2-0.
Within a really short time, the hat-trick arrived. The third one was an absolute miracle. Phillip Lahm made a cross pass which went through to Lewandowski and the striker took the goal shot within an instant, but it hit the bar and came back to him, another immediate hit! But unfortunately, this was also blocked by the goalkeeper, but this time when he received the ball, he made sure it found its place inside the net. Could you just imagine! A hat-trick within just 3 minutes and 22 seconds.
The score was made 4-1 when Douglas Costa made a quick cross for Lewandowski really close to the penalty box. And within no time Lewandowski took a fire and it was so fast that though it was above the goalkeeper’s head, but he had no chance of taking an attempt to stop it. Now, comes the last blow. Though many of you might consider the third one as the best, but this one was just the perfect finish.
This was a clean shot to the net while receiving a cross pass from the right flank and Lewandowski completed it with a bicycle kick. Bendigo, the goalkeeper could not help himself other than standing and watch the ball being placed into the net so fast. The shot was so hard; it knocked down a camera on the ground at the back of the net. This was such a remarkable night to remember for Bayern Munich.
