On the squad news, England has just announced their ODI and T20I squad. Premier batsman Joe Root has been rested from the ODIs and T20I seeing his workload in the past year and the schedule coming in future. The England squad sees the return of Moeen Ali who will open the innings and all-rounder Chris Woakes who is coming off an injury.

One of the new faces in the squad is the Essex seamer Reece Topley, who is in the T20I squad. James Anderson and Stuart Broad both have been left out and have not played limited overs cricket since the World Cup in March 2015. Both of them are supposedly preserved for Tests cricket only, especially Anderson.

The live streaming of the limited overs series will be broadcasted live on Star Sports and Star Sports HD in India. The matches will also be streamed online on Hotstar.com

National selector, James Whitaker, said: “We have made some significant progress in our limited-overs cricket this summer and the next six games allow these players to continue testing themselves against one of the very best sides in the world.

“This is primarily a young group of players and the next three weeks will provide them with valuable experience as we continue to identify players who can take our limited overs cricket forward over the next four years.”
