Matt Ryan has staked his claim as one of the most proficient quarterbacks in the NFL. He has 946 passing yards and five touchdowns in his first three games. Julio Jones has 440 receiving yards and four touchdowns as well.
Also, Devonta Freeman has 184 rushing yards from 52 carries so far this year. Tevin Coleman has 112 yards from 29 carries although he is currently injured.
Justin Durant has 27 tackles to lead the Falcons’ defense. William Moore is also putting up strong numbers with 21 tackles.
Matt Bryant is also one of the most accurate kickers in the league so far as he has made all six of his field goals. His longest for the season was from 47 yards.
Upcoming Games
The Falcons will not be taking on the Panthers until December 13; they will actually play them twice in the month of December. The Falcons will have two straight games at the Georgia Dome as they will host Houston on October 4 and the Washington Redskins on October 11.
Key Injuries
Tight end Jacob Tamme suffered a head injury in the Falcon’s win over the Cowboys. He is currently undergoing standard concussion protocol and his status for the time being in uncertain. Wide receiver Justin Hardy has also been inactive for much of the season; the rookie from East Carolina has yet to play in a game this year.
Running back Tevin Coleman has been out with a rib injury in recent time. Coleman had been the top running back for the Falcons at the start of the season.
