Asia Cup 2016 TV Channels Broadcast Rights

The main draw of Asia Cup 2016 will begin on 24th February and for the first time in the history of the tournament, it will be a 20 over affair instead of the traditional 50 over clashes. The Asia Cup will be played in Bangladesh from 19th February to 6th March 2016. It will be the 13th edition of Asia cup and the 5th one to be hosted by Bangladesh. Sri Lanka will be playing the tournament as defending champions, while India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh and the associate United Arab Emirates, who qualified from the qualifying round.

The qualifying round which was played from 19th Feb to 22nd Feb consisted of the UAE, Oman, Hong Kong and Afghanistan and UAE qualified by winning all of its three matches.
