Arsenal FC Reveal Away Kit For English Premier League 2015-16

Proving all the rumours and leaked version of their Away Kit legitimate, Arsenal FC earlier this week launched their new Away Kit for English Premier League 2015-16.

The Gunners, who will take on West Ham United on 9th August 2015, for the first English Premier League 2015-16 match, released their away kit of the season in Singapore ahead their first Barclay’s Asia Cup Trophy match against Singapore Select XI.

The kit was launched in front of a huge crowd, who enthusiastically cheered the Arsenal players as they walked in their new Navy Blue and Gold Kits with diamond shapes in the front and the back.

While the Away kit’s shirt is Gold in color with Blue sleeves, the shorts are navy blue in color with Gold jersey number on the left leg along with white Puma logo and Red Arsenal logo on the right leg.

The Goalkeeper’s kit meanwhile is Navy Blue in color with two golden horizontal stripes in the front. The goalkeeper also has different shorts from rest of the team, as it has a golden pattern on Navy Blue on top of the shorts with the Jersey number and Puma’ logo written in white on the left leg with Arsenal’s logo on the right leg.

Arsenal, who are currently in Singapore on their English Premier League 2015-16 pre-season tour had released their home kit earlier this year, but the away kit was still a mystery with fans over the past months constantly speculating about their “leaked away jersey” and how it was very similar to their 1997-1999 kit, the year they had also won The English Premier League trophy.

Though, the earlier shirts were more on the yellow side, this year it’s more the shade of solid gold.

Talking about the kit enthusiastically, Arsenal player Oliver Giroud had said “I was really happy to meet some of our fans from Singapore and around Asia. It’s really inspiring to see how passionate and supportive our fans are here, the atmosphere tonight was electric and it was a brilliant experience. I really like our new away kit. The gold colour is very striking and has been associated with some great Arsenal teams in the past.”

Beside Giroud, the event was also attended by Arsenal’s new signing Petr Cech, Santi Cazorla and Mesut Ozil.
