With a population of less than 3 million, Albania has never qualified for a major international football competition, but they also have only made it to two small tournaments, when in 1994, they qualified for youth tournaments, the 1994 U-16 European Championship. However, the current Switzerland team has a pool of talented players like Xherdan Shaqiri and Granit Xhaka, who both are playing for the English club Stokes city and the Arsenal respectively. Since 2014 world cup, Vladimir Petkovic is serving as the coach of the national team and this summer’s EURO-2016 will be his first assignment.
