The summer transfer window, which would close on September 1st (10:30pm IST), has already has got some eyeballs rolling as no English League Club wants to wait till last minute and leave their fate open for other clubs to take advantage off.

Many huge transfers already seem to be on the horizon, while many others seems to be going nowhere but downhill.

5) Memphis Depay`s move to Manchester United

4) Joe Gomez and James Milner`s move to Liverpool:

Dutch footballer Memphis Depay, might not have made his EPL debut yet, but the youngster has already made headlines by scoring whooping 28 goals in 40 games for Dutch team PSV Eindhoven, which not only helped his team secure 2014–15 Eredivisie title, but also forced Manchester United ( Red Devils) manager Louis Van Gal to sign him early so that they don`t lose him to French football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Though the transfer news about Memphis was known since 7th may 2015, on 12th June 2015, United confirmed their signing of Memphis on a four-year contract with the option to extend it for another year.

While Gomez, is capable of playing well both at the central and full-back positions, is someone to watch out for in the future, many believe that Milner, who will be given Liverpool`s famous #7 jersey, will succeed unlike many other known names, who struggled at Anfield after having a promising start with the iconic number.

Though Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho wanted to keep Cech at Stamford Bridge, with 23 year old Thibaut Courtois, becoming Chelsea’s first-choice keeper last season, the club ended up giving permission to Cech to look and talk to other clubs, even though he still had one year left on his deal.After spending 11 years at Chelsea, it is believed that the Blues are finally ready to let the Czech Republic player go, with Arsenal close to signing a deal with Chelsea.

In his 11 years with the Blues, the legendary goalkeeper made more than 300 appearances for Chelsea and won four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups, one Champions League and one Europa League title with the club.

Though 24 year Spaniard just has a year left in his contract, Madrid has been keen to get Gea back home and get him as a team’s goalkeeper ASAP. But with United, putting £20million as asking price, it seems De Gea will be forced to spend another year with United as Madrid has flat out refused to pay that amount for player who they can get for free in a year’s time.While Ramos might be the center of Manchester United’s transfer interest, Spanish team Real Madrid doesn’t seem to be far behind and seem to be showing equal interest in United’s goalkeeper David de Gea.

United had signed De Gea from Atletico Madrid back in 2011 for a record cost of £18million. Though De Gea had initially a shaky start, he later went on win the league title at Old Trafford and is now considered one of the best goalkeepers in EPL.
